Loving Brian Wildsmith's Illustrations

There's a local library branch we visit on ocasion that has a HUGE and well-stocked children's section. Unlike the branch we typically visit, at this branch every book you're looking for seems to be there on the shelf waiting for you. I found myself in the W section and checked out a whole pile of Brian Wildsmith books I had never even seen, just so we could peruse them for the wonderful illustrations! The following illustrations all come from the above Birds book.
