Yesterday when I picked Julia up from school, her teacher, Mrs. S. told me they were singing "You are my Sunshine" and Mrs. S. didn't know the lyrics to the second verse. Apparently, Julia sang the second verse for the whole class in perfect pitch and gave Mrs. S. goosebumps. I feel lucky that we got a teacher who knows the value of sharing such moments because it put a huge smile on my face.
