What in the world causes my t-shirts to get these little holes in them? All of my t-shirts, every brand, get these in the front, down low near the waist. My best guess is that maybe my bra strap hooks catch on them in the wash? This is big stuff, people. I'm mystified.

Tia, I have figured out--at least I think I'm sure--that these holes come from bumping up against the kitchen counter. The friction created when you're working makes the t-shirt rub against the waistband of your pants and/or the button so then the fabric shreds. I've taken to wearing an apron more often and this seems to help. What do you think of my theory?

Ok, this is so wierd! I was just looking at several of my shirts and was wondering the same thing!! I'm thinking it's my belt that is catching on the shirt and making little holes?? Love you! Janet

I get holes exactly like that on the back of the neck... weird.
