For Mother's Day, the kindergarteners in Julia's class planted sunflowers and gave them to us in pots they'd painted. She was so excited to give it to me all wrapped up in a decorated bag and I was all smiles after opening it. Inside was also a special sentiment which they'd filled in with their own ideas. It was a hoot! I love how she thinks my favorite food is salad and that I weigh 40 pounds. :O)
