America's Best Idea, Indeed!

My husband and I have been settling in at night to watch Ken Burn's Documentary: The National Parks, America's Best Idea. We are enjoying it so much! From John Muir to Steven Mathers, so many men were advocates for our natural beauty to be preserved into national parks. They gave us such a gift! We are itching to hit Yosemite now, but also love the idea of Acadia, Denali, and the Great Smokey Mountains. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves nature and who doesn't know the full story of just how this country established its' national parks.
