Just Be Nice to Slugs

Julia is a slug lover. She picks them up. She names them. Their slime is the furthest thing from her mind.

One day we were talking about this slug love of hers and I told her we should make t-shirts to celebrate this misunderstood mollusk. So this weekend when we visited my mom in Roseburg, we took a little fabric paint, some freezer paper, and made stencils of slugs and "slugans" (slogans). Pictured here are the results of our labor.
