Sizzles

Meet Sizzles, one of Julia's most favorite things.

She received Sizzles, of Charlie and Lola fame for her eighth birthday. A cherished member of our family, Sizzles has gone on many a family vacation and sleeps tucked into Julia's pj top each night. When Sizzles "talks" it is with a hilarious voice she's given him. Each day, when the house has fallen silent and I am in it alone, I'm not really in it alone, because Sizzles has been strategically positioned in the front window by either Julia or Avery so that his nose peeks through the blinds, waiting for Julia to get home from school.

I think for Christmas I am going to make Julia a book about Sizzles featuring the many sides of Sizzles.......

Sometimes he's dressed up....

Sometimes he's riding around Hawaii in Julia's purse.....

He chills on ferries in cupholders...

He LOVES backpacking at Opal Creek....

"Shotgun!" Sizzles has been known to shout.
Sizzles is one loved wiener dog paving the way for the day we get a real pooch.....
