Ikea Idea

Somewhere along the line the girls and I started playing around with these Ikea beads and the next thing you know we'd given birth to earrings. Basically you create a cool design out of beads, then create another one, iron them simultaneously so as to create a uniform sheen and meltedness, poke earring hardware through one of the top beads' centers and VOILA! EARRINGS! We made several pairs of these and they were very fun and easy, the kids really got into it, too. Try it out!
