Thankful

My mom got me a sweet Thankfulness journal for Christmas last year so every day in 2020 without fail and despite the madness that abounds, I've been naming things I'm thankful for. It's so easy. There's an abundance.  

I asked my third graders what they were thankful for during our first November morning meeting. The above picture is the slide I captured their ideas on. I came back the next day and asked again and our list got longer. I hope to add more things each day. I love seeing what matters to them.
